I can now say that I’ve been to a Nirvana show.

Well, a Nirvana laser light show at OMSI. But that part just a minor technicality, right? (Just agree with me on this one.)

The lasers ended up being pretty effing cool. The soundtrack was good (I knew 6 out of 9 on the set list), but they could have cranked it up a little higher, if you know what I mean. We weren’t exactly rockin’ out in there. Regardless, if you have never experienced a laser light show — and you don’t have epilepsy — it’s definitely worth the $7.50. All in all it was a really fun experience, especially shared with great friends.

  1. I miss laser shows. So cool. I actually went to the last Nirvana show. It was a very depressing show. Kurt just sat on the stage and sang. We all knew something was very very wrong. :(

  2. That’s very interesting, I didn’t know he was so visibly upset (for lack of a better term) before his death. It’s a wonder someone didn’t recognize what was about to happen, but then even if they did, it might not have changed what happened. It’s definitely a tragic story for the books. :(
